Role: QA Manager (Manual & Automation)
Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary QA Manager with over 10 years of experience to lead our Quality Assurance department. You will be responsible for defining the overall QA vision and strategy, managing multiple cross-functional teams, and driving the transition toward AI-augmented automation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can architect scalable frameworks in Playwright and Selenium while embedding AI tools into the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and high-speed delivery cycles.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor multiple QA teams across manual and automation functions, fostering a culture of quality excellence and continuous learning.
- Automation Excellence: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- AI Integration: Drive the adoption of AI tools and LLMs for dynamic test generation, predictive risk analysis, and automated QA workflows.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Integrate automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD/CT pipelines to enable high-frequency, automated releases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and DevOps leads to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in Software Quality Assurance with a proven track record of managing large-scale QA projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Selenium (Java) and Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- AI Tooling: Hands-on experience using AI/LLM-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, TestMU, or Generative AI) for test case generation and automation.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum, Shift-Left testing, and automated release management.
- Reporting: Ability to track and report on critical QA KPIs like defect density, test coverage, and release quality.
Preferred Certifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Managerial or Advanced Level).
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) for managing cloud-based testing environments.
