About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to oversee our quality assurance team.You will be required to manage all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying defects, and reviewing QA reports.
To ensure success as a Senior QA Engineer, you should have extensive experience in test automation and manual, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top- notch senior QA engineer ensures the smooth running of the QE department and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing functional & regression test cases within given deadlines.
- Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
- Provides suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client's business processes
- Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
- Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.
- Responding to requests from the design team and management.
- Assists in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing.
- Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions.
- Manage and maintain a regression suite (Manual and Automation cases).
- Readily available to acknowledge critical issues or escalations.
- Be involved in weekly production sanity tests.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software QE methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Waterfall practice.
- Experience is API automation and manual testing
- Experience in testing various applications, services and user interfaces (Mobile app, Web etc
- Track defect lifecycle and ensure timely closure before launch
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external team members/clients.
- Exposure to Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence.
- Coordinate with TPM, Dev, Product, and Operations teams during release
- Prior experience in non-functional testing(Good to have)
- Experience in automation testing (both API and UI)
- Able to extend working hours during weekdays and weekends till the product is launched
