Senior QA Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our technology team in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for a quality assurance professional with hands-on experience in testing chatbot and video bot solutions, along with a strong understanding of modern communication protocols and emerging technologies.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for chatbot and video bot applications.
• Perform end-to-end testing across various communication platforms, including mobile, web, and API layers.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to understand product requirements and user flows.
• Conduct regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure quality at every release.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve them promptly.
• Maintain and enhance automation test suites for continuous testing.
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to agile QA processes.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in testing Chatbots and Video Bots.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and machine learning-based product testing.
• Familiarity with WEBRTC Protocol for real-time communications.
• Experience with WhatsApp Business API and RCS (Rich Communication Services).
• Understanding of A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging and telecom integrations.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on QA experience in a product or platform-focused environment.
