Job Description :Senior QA Engineer – Automation (5+ Years)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong skills in automation testing (primarily API) and exposure to AI-based applications. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to ensure quality across AI-driven products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for API and UI layers
- Build and maintain automation frameworks (API-focused)
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Validate AI-driven features such as chatbot responses and workflows
- Work closely with developers to debug and resolve issues
- Contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines
- Ensure proper test data management and coverage
- Participate in QA processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
- Strong hands-on experience in API Automation
- Tools: Postman, RestAssured, PyTest, etc.
- Experience in UI Automation (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress)
- Good understanding of test case design and execution
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, ADO, etc.)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
Good to Have
- Exposure to AI/ML or chatbot testing
- Understanding of:
- Prompt-based systems
- Conversational flows
- Basic knowledge of Python / Java
- Experience with performance or security testing
