Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a talented scrum team todefine andperform manual and automatedtesting, ensuring every feature meets user story acceptance criteriaand release quality

  • Own the testing, troubleshooting, and debugging, working closely with developers, architects,designersand product managerstoidentify, escalate,triage and address quality issues

  • Lead both front-end and back-end automation efforts, using modern frameworks and best practices to drivecodecoverage andservicereliability

  • Define the team'stestingstrategy andestablishrobust release management practiceswith continuous improvements

  • Translate product requirements into actionable test plans for functional and regression testing

  • Champion automation stability, tackle flaky tests, and guide the team in adopting effective tools and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineeringfrom a reputed institution

  • 6+years of hands-on experience incommercialsoftware testing, with strong skills in JavaScript, Java, or Python

  • Experience with front-end automation frameworks (Cypress, Protractor) and back-end REST API automation (Rest Assured, Karate)

  • Familiarity with BDD methodologies (Cucumber,JBehave) and performance testing tools (JMeter)

  • Proficiencywith Jira, Jenkins, GIT, and cloud data management services

  • Solid background in testing backend, mobile, and web applications for scalable, high-quality cloud services

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of Agile development and QA methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to automation frameworks like Robot Framework, Puppeteer, or quick scripting in Postman

  • Experience with CI tools (Jenkins) and AWS-based cloud infrastructure
