Role Description
- Work closely with project stakeholders to understand business processes, product requirements, and technical specifications
- Ensure Agile principles and testing practices are followed throughout sprint and release cycles
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Perform system, integration, acceptance, and regression testing
- Log, track, and manage defects in the bug tracking system
- Develop SQL queries for backend and API validation
- Participate in test case reviews and automation script development
- Design, build, execute, and maintain automated test solutions using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and JMeter
- Analyze automated test results and provide actionable quality insights
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure overall product quality
- Complete assigned work within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of QA experience with a mix of functional and automation testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in functional, system, end-to-end, regression, integration, and build verification testing
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Strong API testing and API automation experience
- Good database and SQL query knowledge
- Proficiency in Java; knowledge of C# and TypeScript/JavaScript is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and version control systems
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
