Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior QA Automation Engineerto lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions for our digital commerce and payments platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Strategy & Frameworks
- Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Define and implement best practices for test automation across teams.
- Test Development & Execution
- Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, performance, and regression testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Quality Leadership
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Defect Management & Reporting
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Provide detailed reports and metrics on test coverage, execution, and quality trends.
- Tooling & Innovation
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive adoption of AI/ML-based testing solutions where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Expertise in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern web architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in digital payments, e-commerce, or fintech environments.
- Knowledge of security and compliance testing (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
