Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to work on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products in the technology industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a global leader in AI, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects, and contributing to the development of next-generation AI systems. This position requires a strong understanding of industry-standard tools and frameworks, as well as the ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress.

• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to keep pace with evolving project needs, ensuring seamless test execution and identifying areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases, ensuring that software products meet the required standards.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless test execution with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

• Identify, report, and track software defects using best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall software quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in test automation frameworks and tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and knowledge of how to integrate automated tests into these pipelines.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including performance testing and automation testing, with experience in identifying and resolving software defects.

• Familiarity with SQL and experience working with databases, with knowledge of how to design and execute database tests.

• Experience working with automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress, with knowledge of how to design and execute automated test scripts.
