Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Python-based test automation, Selenium, API testing, and end-to-end validation of warehouse and fulfillment workflows. This role requires close collaboration with Product, Engineering, Business, and Implementation teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of supply chain applications.
You will play a key role in automation strategy, framework enhancement, test planning, and quality assurance across complex WMS implementations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python and Selenium
- Create and execute automated test cases for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end business workflows
- Validate warehouse management processes including receiving, putaway, inventory management, replenishment, wave planning, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
- Develop and maintain regression, smoke, and functional automation test suites
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Solution Architects to define test strategies and quality objectives
- Perform API testing and integration testing across WMS, OMS, ERP, and other supply chain systems
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, test estimation, and release activities
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements
- Support UAT, production validation, and post-deployment testing activities
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in QA Automation Testing
- Strong experience testing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and Selenium automation frameworks
- Experience with UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation testing
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and fulfillment processes
- Experience with defect management and test management tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Manhattan Active applications and related supply chain solutions
- Experience testing integrations between WMS, OMS, ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and third-party applications
- Experience with REST API testing tools and automation frameworks
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and microservices architecture
- Experience working in retail, eCommerce, distribution, or supply chain environments
- Experience leading testing efforts for WMS implementations or upgrades
