Senior QA Automation Engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER.

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in both functional (manual) testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective testing strategies, robust automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.

Primary Skills:-

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright
• Experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins CI/CD
• Solid functional/manual testing expertise
• End-to-end and regression automation experience

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):-

• API testing
• Knowledge of performance testing
• Experience working in Agile environments

Key Responsibilities

Functional Testing

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing
• Log and track defects with clear documentation
• Validate data integrity, workflows, and business rules

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve automation coverage and test stability
• Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices
