Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with strong backend development expertise to design and build scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python frameworks, cloud-native development, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Django
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for high-performance applications
- Work on marketplace systems including catalog, transactions, and integrations
- Develop workflow engines for automation, orchestration, and state management
- Collaborate with frontend teams for API and UI integration
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Lead backend development efforts and mentor junior engineers
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Python (MANDATORY - 6+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Django framework
- Experience in building RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes
- Version control using Git
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of system design & Note (Must Read) :
- Profiles with less than 6 years of Python experience will NOT be considered
- Junior, intern, or entry-level profiles will be automatically rejected
Preferred Skills
- Experience in marketplace or e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of workflow engines / orchestration tools
- Exposure to microservices architecture
