About the Position
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be a major contributor to the efforts of developing our products. You will contribute to technological decisions, architecture choices, and the product development roadmap. This is a core team position.
Responsibilites
● End-to-end development of products and features - spec to client.
● Integrating with diverse systems ranging from big data pipelines to distributed system to edge devices.
● Own microservices end-to-end.
● Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and peers to deliver amazing products.
● Maintain and develop Data tagging and Management tools and systems.
● Analyze and improve precision, scale, and stability of products, environments, and tools.
● Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in an ongoing effort to discover and evolve better solutions and infrastructure.
Requirements
● 5+ years of software development experience for a SaaS company
● 5+ years experience with a server-side based programming language Python
● 3+ years experience working with ORMs (preferably Django).
● Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure (i.e. AWS).
● Familiarity with relational and document data modeling.
● Experience building production APIs.
● Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documents, modularity).
