Senior Python Developer- VR-122458

Project Description:

Our client is a USA subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.

We are currently looking to expand our team with a Python developer. Successful candidate will work as an extension of US based client BAU team responsible for development of supporting a range of in-house systems and vendor system integrations related to MBS and Fixed income products.

Our team: a big international team developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements

Technologies used: Python, Java, Windows, Linux, several front office vendor solutions for capital markets including Murex. MS SQL as RDBMS.

Opportunities: The role opens possibilities for working directly with client representatives, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, developing consultancy / soft skills.

The team operates in fully remote mode. Working from office is possible upon request in the locations of Luxoft presence.

Responsibilities:

* Communicating with client on requirements clarification.

* Proposing the solution, application design.

* Programming in Python, SQL.

* Development of autimated test

* Communicating with client on user issues.

* Resolving client problems in different ways, proposing workarounds, applying fixes.

Mandatory Skills Description:

* Python 7+ years of professional experience

* Window/Linux OS experience

* Experience with MS SQL or Oracle

* Control-M

* Ability to communicate verbally with the client in English: written/spoken

* Analytical thinking

* Financial markets background

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

* Experience with MBS and Fixed income products is a plus

* Java experience is a plus
