Design, develop, and optimise scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
Build and deploy machine learning models using AWS SageMaker.
Work with large-scale data processing on AWS EMR.
Implement and manage search solutions using AWS OpenSearch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.
Data Governance & Optimisation
Work closely with data architects and analysts to build effective audience segmentation, suppression logic, and lifecycle triggers.
Optimise campaign performance through deliverability monitoring, feedback loop processing, bounce handling, and inbox placement analysis.
What You Know
59 years of professional experience in software/data engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
Proven experience with AWS services: EMR, SageMaker, OpenSearch.
Solid understanding of distributed computing and data processing frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications/Good To Have
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with data lake architectures and data governance.
Exposure to MLOps and model lifecycle management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
