About the Role
You will architect, design, and build robust backend systems using Python and modern frameworks for cloud-native, microservices-based products. You'll collaborate closely on API strategy, cloud adoption, and backend innovation. Strong cloud experience on AWS/Azure and leadership/mentoring skills are essential. AI/ML exposure is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of backend services using Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
- Architect, deploy, and maintain microservices on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Optimize system reliability, scalability, and security
- Drive CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud automation
- Mentor junior developers, review code, and uphold coding standards
- Shape database and API design (SQL/NoSQL, REST/GraphQL)
- Integrate with AI/ML pipelines when required
Requirements
- Graduation in Computer Science/IT or related field
- 710 years experience with Python and modern backend frameworks
- Deep expertise in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and system design
- Hands-on DevOps, CI/CD, and container ecosystem exposure
- Strong experience tuning databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- AI/ML exposure. (Preferably worked on AI Agentic systems or Chatbots)
- Excellent communication and leadership/mentoring skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS)
- Cloud cost optimization, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
