Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Python Backend Engineer with expertise in building scalable backend systems and integrating AI capabilities into production applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, microservices, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and modern LLM-based architectures such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This role combines backend engineering, system architecture, AI integration, and technical leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop asynchronous and distributed backend systems for enterprise-scale applications.
AI & LLM Integration
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into production applications.
- Build AI-powered solutions using RAG, Prompt Engineering, LangChain/LangGraph, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Optimize AI workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Database & Performance
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Write efficient SQL queries and perform indexing, query tuning, and database optimization.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and high availability.
Cloud & DevOps
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Collaborate on cloud-native deployments across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Technical Leadership
- Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams.
- Collaborate with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Experience- 6–8+ years of backend development experience using Python.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Kafka, or event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to MLOps, AI model deployment, and workflow orchestration platforms.
