Senior Python Automation Specialist -

Responsibilities
Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant Python experience.
- Design, build, and operate automation-first analytical products and workflows for Global BizOps and regional Ops.
- Build resilient Python and SQL solutions that integrate APIs, internal systems, and stakeholder-facing outputs.
- Translate ambiguous business needs into minimal, high-leverage automations with clear evidence, failure modes, and guardrails.
- Own reliability through testing, monitoring, alerting, documentation, runbooks, and handoff.
- Refactor fragile manual workflows into reusable, maintainable, version-controlled solutions.
- Lead technical design reviews, coach junior teammates, and help assess automation candidates.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong Python engineering skills, including APIs, object-oriented design, Pandas, and robust error handling.
- Strong SQL skills in Hive or Presto, with attention to performance, reuse, and data quality.
- Experience with automation, orchestration, monitoring, version control, and technical documentation.
- Ability to design for data freshness, access controls, failure recovery, and user trust.
- Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership.
