Role Description The Senior PV Designer role at Organo Mart is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. In this role, the Senior PV Designer is responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing photovoltaic (PV) systems to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical drawings and layouts, performing system sizing and yield calculations, coordinating with procurement and installation teams, and reviewing site assessments and technical documentation. The Senior PV Designer also collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate project specifications, resolves design-related issues during implementation, and supports continuous improvement of design standards and processes. This position involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to quality assurance and best practices in PV design.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in PV system design, including array layout, inverter selection, cabling, and structural considerations.
• Proficiency with PV design and simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and relevant modeling platforms).
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, safety standards, and applicable codes and regulations for solar installations.
• Experience analyzing site data, conducting shading and yield assessments, and preparing accurate technical documentation and reports.
• Ability to collaborate with installation, project management, and procurement teams, and to guide junior designers through complex projects.
• Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field; advanced certification in solar PV design is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead PV design role, ideally within the renewable energy or solar sector.
