Job Summary
The Senior Purchase Manager (Interior Materials) will lead the procurement and supply chain
operations for all interior design and execution projects. This includes sourcing, purchasing and
managing materials such as furniture, fixtures, finishes, dcor elements, lighting, joinery and
MEP-related interior components. The role focuses on cost optimization, vendor management,
quality assurance and timely delivery to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for interior design and execution materials
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure best pricing, quality
and delivery schedules
- Maintain and update a database of approved suppliers and continuously monitor vendor
performance
- Issue purchase orders, track deliveries and ensure materials are available as per project
schedules
- Collaborate with design teams, project managers and site engineers for material planning
and specification compliance
- Conduct rate analysis, benchmarking and cost optimization for interior materials
- Monitor inventory levels, stock management and wastage control at warehouses and project
sites
- Resolve supplier disputes, delays or quality issues
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, contractual terms and quality
standards
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS and analysis for senior management
- Stay updated on market trends, new products and innovations in interior design materials
- Support project execution by ensuring timely availability of materials and adherence to
design specifications
