Position: Senior Purchase Executive

Reporting to: Deputy General Manager - Procurement
Location: Halol
What You Will Do:
Purpose:
- To establish efficient source for Material and Services for Halol plant.
Key Activities:
- Price Negotiations and Suppliers Development and Improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Purchase activities, as assigned by superior, for Halol Plant.
- Price negotiation
- New initiatives for Cost reduction, quality improvement and lead time reduction
- Close coordination with Factory Material Planning Function.
- Maintaining various reports, ensuring timely and proper distribution of the reports to the concerned as a MIS.
Who we are looking for :
- Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- Min. 3 5 Years in Purchase and Vendor development in Engineering Industry.
Key Skills:
- Functional: Thorough knowledge of Production Purchase and Vendor development; Good Negotiation skill, Exposure to ERP systems; Good in analytical and logical skills with proven track record of success in a complex production and assembly environment; good working knowledge on M.S. Excel and Power point.
- Behavioral: Smart, polite and persuasive communication skills; should be able to work independently; should have an attitude of honoring commitments and no compromise with company's code of conduct.
