Role Overview:

As a Senior Account Manager (Corporate Vertical), you will lead end-to-end communication programs for clients in the corporate sector. The role involves strategic planning, client servicing, media engagement, and team leadership ensuring that all communication initiatives align with client objectives and deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic PR and communication plans for corporate clients.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong, trusted relationships.
  • Drive proactive media outreach and secure high-quality editorial coverage across print, online, and electronic media.
  • Guide and mentor account executives and junior team members to deliver on campaign goals.
  • Manage client deliverables, budgets, and timelines efficiently.
  • Draft and refine press releases, spokesperson notes, thought leadership articles, and other communication materials.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers relevant to client sectors.
  • Provide strategic inputs on reputation management, internal communication, and executive visibility.
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports and insights for clients.
  • Identify new opportunities to enhance brand positioning and visibility.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 68 years of experience in public relations, with a strong focus on corporate communications.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in managing multiple corporate clients and communication programs.
  • Strong relationships with mainstream and trade media across sectors.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with leadership and mentoring experience.
