Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Senior Executive - PR who has hands-on experience managing clients in the Fintech, Venture Capital, and Startup ecosystem. The ideal candidate understands high-growth brands, funding narratives, founder positioning, and business storytelling.
This role requires strong media relationships, sharp business understanding, and the ability to translate complex financial or startup concepts into compelling narratives
Key Responsibilities
1. Media Relations & Business Storytelling
- Build and maintain relationships with business, tech, startup, and fintech journalists
- Draft press releases, media notes, founder profiles, and funding announcements
- Secure meaningful coverage across business, financial, and mainstream media
- Support thought-leadership opportunities for founders and investors
2. Client Servicing & Account Management
- Manage day-to-day communication for fintech, VC, and startup accounts
- Participate in strategy discussions and contribute proactively
- Prepare client updates, reports, and coverage analysis
- Handle multiple accounts with strong ownership and accountability
3. Campaign & Announcement Execution
- Lead funding announcement PR (Seed, Series A, B etc.)
- Manage product launches, partnership announcements, and investor stories
- Coordinate with founders, CXOs, and investment teams
- Support media briefings and roundtables
4. Reporting & Insights
- Deliver monthly reports with qualitative insights (not just coverage volume)
- Track industry trends, competitor announcements, and funding activity
- Identify proactive media opportunities
Required Experience & Skills
- 2-4 years in a PR agency
- Proven experience handling: Fintech brands, Venture Capital firms, startup clients (early-stage to growth-stage)
- Understanding of funding cycles, valuation narratives, and startup ecosystems
- Strong media network in business and startup publications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
