The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in generative AI and a passion for improving how engineering teams build software using AI.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Prior professional experience in software engineering, application development, or a closely related technical role
- Must have hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, or similar LLM-powered platforms
- Must have experience in full-stack software development, with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure
- Experience with modern development frameworks and programming languages such as React / Next.js, Node.js, Python, Go or equivalent modern technology stacks
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB
- Understanding of secure software development practices, application security, and common vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with LLM safety, prompt security, AI governance, and responsible AI practices
- Experience with software testing, debugging, observability, and production-quality engineering practices.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with AI agents, agentic coding workflows, RAG, LLM APIs, or AI orchestration frameworks
- Experience integrating LLM capabilities into enterprise applications or developer platforms
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and AI-assisted security practices
- Experience establishing organizational prompt engineering standards, reusable AI workflows, or internal prompt libraries.
Responsibilities
- Design effective prompts, agent workflows, and AI-assisted development processes to generate accurate, maintainable, scalable, and secure code
- Evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated code and technical outputs against software, security, and business requirements
- Architect and develop scalable, enterprise-grade applications using AI-assisted software engineering practices
- Build rapid prototypes using GenAI development tools and iteratively refine them toward production-ready solutions
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing software development, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows
- Conduct rigorous code reviews of both human-written and AI-generated code, ensuring quality, performance, security, and maintainability
- Establish and maintain prompt libraries, reusable workflows, coding patterns, and AI engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, software engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and team members on effective prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding, and responsible use of GenAI tools
- Experiment with emerging AI coding tools, models, frameworks, and agentic development approaches to identify opportunities for engineering productivity improvements
- Champion ethical, secure, and responsible AI usage throughout the software development lifecycle
- Establish appropriate validation, testing, and governance practices for AI-generated software.
