Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale semiconductor fabrication and facilities construction projects, including greenfield developments, cleanrooms, utilities, logistics buildings, and supporting infrastructure. The role involves full lifecycle project managementfrom feasibility, design coordination, tendering, construction, commissioning, stakeholder management to successful handover.
This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with strong experience working with worldclass semiconductor clients such as Intel, Infineon, Lam Research, and Komag.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Construction Management
- Lead endtoend execution of semiconductor facility projects (Cleanroom, Utilities, Admin & Aux buildings, Logistics, Warehouses).
- Manage project schedule, budget, quality, risk, and safety.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and lead project scheduling activities.
- Oversee construction preplanning, logistics, sequencing, and execution strategies.
- Review and approve ITPs, PQPs, Method Statements, engineering drawings, and mockups.
Technical & Engineering Leadership
- Oversee CSA/MEP design development, early works, feasibility studies, tendering, and engineering coordination.
- Lead engineering and construction for utilities: Ultrapure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment, Chemical & Gas systems, HF treatment plants, Cyanide treatment systems, Cleanrooms, Electrical Substations (up to 132 kV).
- Manage testing, commissioning, qualification, and system handover activities.
Stakeholder & Authority Management
- Act as primary interface with clients, consultants, authorities, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Lead OAC meetings, prepare minutes, reports, action trackers, and progress presentations.
- Manage approvals with local authorities and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
Operational & Facilities Management Support
- Support facilities operation teams with sustaining activities, audits, SOP development, performance improvements, and warranty period management.
- Drive rampup strategies for FrontEnd FABs across global sites (Kulim, Villach, Dresden, Regensburg).
