Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to support the delivery of a major infrastructure development project in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, contract administration, progress monitoring and coordination with various project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in project management, contract administration or major infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale civil engineering, infrastructure or building construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction contract administration, including Variation Orders (VO), Extension of Time (EOT), progress claims and contractual disputes.

  • Familiarity with Singapore construction contracts, including PSSCOC, is an advantage.

  • Experience in project scheduling, delay analysis, cost control and risk management.

  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning software.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications and approved schedules.

  • Administer construction contracts, including assessment of Variation Orders, Extension of Time applications and contractual claims.

  • Review contractors work programmes, progress reports, method statements and technical submissions.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and recommend mitigation measures.

  • Evaluate progress payment claims, variations and associated cost implications.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and relevant stakeholders to resolve project and contractual issues.

  • Conduct and attend project progress meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings.

  • Prepare contractual correspondence, progress reports, assessment reports and recommendations.

  • Monitor construction quality, project milestones and compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Support testing, commissioning, handover, defects rectification and project close-out activities.

  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior project personnel.
