Senior Project Manager (PEB construction)

The Bharat Steel Group, established in 1989, has grown from iron and steel trading to offering comprehensive steel solutions, including steel trading, roofing solutions, and turnkey Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) contracting. The company is an authorized distributor for leading steel manufacturers like SAIL, JSW, and RINL, providing high-quality flat and long steel products. Additionally, Bharat Steel Group is an authorized distributor of JSW Colouron+ roofing sheets and a manufacturer of C/Z purlins. The company specializes in turnkey contracts for pre-engineered buildings and civil construction needs.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Senior Project Manager in PEB construction. The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, overseeing procurement and logistics, coordinating expediting processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations. The role requires effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project success.

• Proven expertise in Expediting and experience with Expeditor responsibilities to streamline project activities
• Strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within scope
• Competency in Inspection protocols and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
• Experience in Logistics Management to coordinate the delivery of materials and ensure seamless execution across sites
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and relevant software
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience in handling Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) or construction projects is highly desirable
