SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, effort estimates, and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and drive corrective actions wherever required.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and business stakeholders.
• Conduct project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Facilitate requirement discussions and support solutioning initiatives.

Delivery Governance

• Establish project governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
• Track project KPIs, SLAs, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, quality standards, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project execution.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans proactively.
• Manage issues, escalations, dependencies, and change requests.
• Maintain risk and issue registers and provide timely updates to leadership.

Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Support teams.
• Mentor team members and foster a high-performance culture.
• Conduct regular team reviews and performance discussions.
• Ensure optimal resource utilization and capacity planning.

Financial & Resource Management

• Track project financials including effort utilization, revenue realization, margins, and forecasting.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation.
• Support account growth opportunities and resource planning activities.

Client Relationship Management

• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and digital transformation.
• Support business development activities, proposals, estimations, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10-15+ years of IT industry experience with 5+ years in Project Management roles.
• Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale IT projects/programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
