The role is accountable for achieving project objectives across Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SEQDC) while ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of project execution throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives and SEQDC targets.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and implement project execution strategies, construction methodologies, resource plans, and delivery programmes.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, environmental requirements, company EHS policies, and project-specific plans.
- Oversee quality management processes to ensure works are executed in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client expectations.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, cost control, contract administration, variation management, and commercial risks.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all statutory approvals, permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are obtained and maintained to support project delivery.
- Provide regular project reporting on safety, quality, programme, cost, risks, and overall project performance.
- Lead project commissioning, handover, defect management, and closeout activities.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline
- Minimum 15-20 years of relevant construction industry experience, including at least 10 years in project management and senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering at least two construction projects with individual contract values exceeding S$300 million.
