InsureMO is an Insurance Middle Office platform that enables insurers to modernize legacy systems, digitize insurance applications, launch new products, and connect with digital channels and ecosystem partners through APIs and microservices. The platform supports insurance capabilities across the policy lifecycle, including product configuration, quotation, policy issuance, servicing, billing, claims, and distribution.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – General Insurance with strong expertise in General Insurance and Core Policy Administration System (PAS) implementations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing complex insurance technology implementations, particularly Core Policy System / Policy Administration System projects, and should understand the end-to-end General Insurance policy lifecycle.

This role will be responsible for managing large and complex client implementations, working closely with insurance carriers, business stakeholders, technology teams, product teams, solution architects, and implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced InsurTech environment and have the ability to translate insurance business requirements into technology implementation plans.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

Lead end-to-end implementation of insurance technology projects from requirements gathering through Go-Live and post-production stabilization.

Manage projects involving Core Policy Administration Systems, insurance platforms, digital transformation, API integrations and modernization initiatives.

Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and resource requirements.

Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, status reports and delivery dashboards.

Track project progress against agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality parameters.

Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and drive timely resolution.

Ensure effective change management and control of project scope.

General Insurance Domain Expertise

·      Demonstrate strong understanding of the General Insurance domain and end-to-end policy lifecycle.

·      Work across areas such as:

o  Product configuration

o  Quotation

o  Underwriting

o  Policy issuance

o  Endorsements

o  Renewals

o  Cancellations

o  Policy servicing

o  Billing and payments

o  Claims

o  Reinsurance

o  Distribution and commissions

·      Understand different General Insurance lines of business such as Motor, Property, Health, Travel, Commercial, SME, Marine, Liability and other P&C products.

·      Act as a domain bridge between insurance business teams and technology teams.

Core Policy System Implementation[Text Wrapping Break]Lead and manage Core Policy Administration System implementation / transformation projects.

Experience in implementing or integrating policy administration platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, Majesco, TIA or other insurance core systems will be highly valuable.

Manage product configuration, business rules, workflows, integrations, data migration and testing activities.

Coordinate with client teams for product mapping, requirement validation, UAT and production readiness.

Manage integration with surrounding systems such as claims, billing, CRM, payment gateways, portals, distribution systems, data platforms and third-party services.

·      Act as the primary delivery point of contact for customers and senior stakeholders.

·      Conduct regular project governance meetings and steering committee discussions.

·      Manage customer expectations and ensure transparent communication on project progress, risks and dependencies.

·      Work closely with business users, product owners, architects, engineering teams and implementation partners.

·      Build strong and long-term relationships with insurance carrier clients.

·      Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed project teams.

·      Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps and insurance domain experts.

·      Allocate resources effectively and ensure the team is aligned with project priorities.

·      Mentor project team members and promote strong delivery and quality practices.

·      10–15 years of overall experience in IT / Insurance Technology.

·      Strong experience in General Insurance / P&C insurance.

·      Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in insurance technology implementations.

·      Mandatory experience in Core Policy Administration System / Core Insurance System implementation.

·      Strong understanding of the General Insurance policy lifecycle.

InsureMO Implementation & Modernization

Work with clients to understand their existing core insurance architecture and legacy policy systems and define implementation / modernization approaches.[Text Wrapping Break]Drive integration between existing Core Policy Administration Systems and insureMO's API and middle-office capabilities.[Text Wrapping Break]Support digital distribution, ecosystem connectivity and new product implementation initiatives.[Text Wrapping Break]Work with solution and technical teams to define scalable implementation approaches using APIs, microservices and cloud-native technologies.[Text Wrapping Break]Ensure successful delivery of insurance products and digital journeys on the insureMO platform.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have actually delivered Core Policy System / Policy Administration System implementations, rather than candidates with only generic IT project management experience.
