*The role will be with Swisslog Middle-East.

Location - can be either KSA or UAE based

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to achieve project objectives and stakeholder expectations while managing competing constraints within available resources. This role involves balancing scope, time, budget, and quality to deliver successful project outcomes.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Scope Management

  • Coordinate slightly complex projects with medium or low risks, ensuring all necessary work is included and managing project teams effectively

Schedule Management

  • Apply and adjust standardized schedules, maintaining control over major milestones (e.g., execution specifications, FAT, SAT, PAC, FAC).

Budget Management

  • Maintain project forecasts, anticipate cost implications, and establish effective claim management processes
  • Collaborate with purchasing and engineering functions to select suppliers and manage them proactively.

Risk Management

  • Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, and response planning to optimize project success

Quality and Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure the project meets organizational quality policies and stakeholder requirements
  • Identify, analyze, and engage stakeholders to align expectations

Procurement and Supplier Management

  • Manage procurement processes to acquire necessary products and services, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Formal internal project management qualification preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 10-15 years in project management, with technical expertise in material handling systems and Intralogistics industry
  • Proven track record of completing at least 5 projects successfully

Key Competencies

  • Expertise in project integration, resource allocation, and cost management
  • Strong skills in risk management, schedule planning, and quality assurance
  • Exceptional communication, team collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Additional Capabilities

  • Familiarity with intralogistics concepts, customer business processes, and industry trends
  • Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).Proficiency in spoken and written local language.
