Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Own the execution and delivery of complex, large-scale Data, Analytics, and AI/ML initiatives from inception to rollout.
- Databricks Ecosystem Oversight: Lead teams building modern data architectures, ensuring best practices in data engineering and data science using the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders. Manage expectations, translate complex technical milestones into business value, and navigate matrixed organizations with ease.
- Agile Leadership: Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage sprints, mitigate risks, and proactively clear roadblocks for the engineering team.
- Resource & Financial Management: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure high-velocity, cost-effective delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 10–12 years of IT project/delivery management experience, with a heavy focus on Data & AI domains.
- Technical Familiarity: Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark), cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and AI/ML lifecycles.
- The Go-Getter Attitude: A self-starter who takes extreme ownership, anticipates risks before they happen, and drives teams toward solutions without hand-holding.
- Elite Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and present confidently to executive leadership.
Huge Pluses (Preferred):
- Industry Domain: Deep domain knowledge in the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector (Upstream, Downstream, or Asset Management analytics).
- Availability:Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be given high priority.
- Certifications: PMP, CSM, Safe Agile, or Databricks Certified credentials.
