Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

About the Opportunity

A leading engineering and project delivery organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead the successful execution of large-scale mission-critical and infrastructure projects. This role will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and construction through commissioning and handover, while managing cross-functional teams and key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of complex engineering and construction projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee all site activities, ensuring effective coordination between clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive project scheduling, resource planning, and progress tracking while proactively identifying and mitigating risks that may impact delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review technical submissions, design changes, and project documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor project costs, commercial performance, and change management activities, including variations and claims where applicable.
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture across project teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
• Lead stakeholder communication and reporting, providing clear visibility on project progress, key milestones, and critical issues.
• Support project close-out activities, including commissioning, handover, documentation, and operational readiness.

Preferred Background

• Proven experience delivering complex M&E, mission-critical, or high-specification projects.
• Exposure to electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems, testing and commissioning, and integrated systems delivery.
• Experience working on fast-track construction environments with multiple stakeholders and contractors.
• Strong commercial awareness including change management, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
• Ability to coordinate across design, construction, procurement, safety, quality, and commissioning functions.
• Experience working with international clients and projects with stringent quality and governance requirements will be advantageous.
