Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Project Manager located in Mumbai. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing logistics and supply chains, expediting project tasks, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The role also involves conducting project inspections, resolving day-to-day project challenges, and driving continuous improvements in processes and practices.
Key Responsibilities:Project Governance and Execution
- Direct the end-to-end execution of turnkey AV projects, encompassing boardrooms, unified communication hubs, and mission-critical command centers.
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys and technical assessments to align engineering designs with physical site conditions.
- Ensure all installations adhere to international standards of cabling, rack management, and acoustic integrity.
Stakeholder and Client Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between Cosmos Business Machines and senior officials within PSU and customer organizations.
- Manage client expectations through regular progress reporting, milestone tracking, and formal project documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with internal design teams, external consultants, and multi-disciplinary contractors.
Operational Oversight
- Supervise on-site technical teams and subcontractors to ensure workflows remain optimized and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Manage procurement timelines and equipment logistics to prevent project delays.
- Facilitate final system commissioning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the formal handover process.
Professional RequirementsExperience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 to 10 years of professional experience in Audio-Visual project management.
- A proven track record of managing high-value Audio Visual projects.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or PMP certification is highly desirable.
Technical Competencies
- Profound knowledge of integrated control systems (Crestron, Kramer, QSC, or similar).
- Expertise in Video Conferencing (VC) architecture, Professional Audio DSPs, and large-format LED display technology.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
