Roles & Responsibilities :
The Senior Project Manager leads complex assembly line automation projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, budget, and timelines. This role demands cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and deep expertise in automation technologies, including robotics, PLCs, SCADA, MES, and Industry 4.0 systems.
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of end-to-end assembly line automation projects
Define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables
Manage design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and customer interfaces
Drive risk mitigation, change management, and cost optimisation strategies
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Support pre-sales activities with techno-commercial proposals and customer presentations
Promote continuous improvement and identify opportunities for innovation and process enhancements
Manage regulatory compliance.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Making Competitive and winning techno-commercial offer for the RFPs or tenders as applicable
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. And 4-6 years of experience in project management, specifically managing mechanical engineering projects.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong expertise in managing end-to-end assembly line automation projects with PLC, SCADA, robotics, and MES integration.
Skilled in Industry 4.0 technologies, smart factory solutions, and control systems (mechanical and electrical).
Proven ability in stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and techno-commercial proposal handling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and risk management skills with focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
