We're Hiring: Senior Project Engineer – U.S. Construction Projects

Shiv Infinium Engineering Projects Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with strong knowledge of the complete construction project lifecycle, from preconstruction and buyout through execution, financial controls, and closeout.

Mandatory Eligibility Requirement:

Candidates must have prior hands-on Project Engineering experience on U.S.-based construction projects. Applicants whose experience is primarily in other geographical markets, or who do not have direct Project Engineering experience, will not be considered for this position.

Role: Senior Project Engineer

Experience: 7+ years

Engagement: Full-time role

Location: Remote

Timings: U.S. time zone support / Evening shift in India

• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
• Prepare detailed scopes of work, bid packages, and subcontractor exhibits
• Perform bid levelling, scope comparison, and scope-gap analysis
• Support subcontractor buyout, award recommendations, and contract review
• Manage RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, and design clarification workflows
• Track procurement, long-lead materials, approvals, releases, and deliveries
• Lead scope review meetings and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams
• Maintain meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up logs
• Manage change events, change orders, pricing backup, and supporting documentation
• Track project budgets, commitments, cost exposure, and forecasted changes
• Review schedules, lookaheads, milestones, and critical project activities
• Monitor manpower, material, installation, and overall project progress
• Identify cost, schedule, coordination, and scope risks before they impact the project
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation within Procore
• Coordinate O&M manuals, warranties, as-builts, punch lists, and final closeout packages
• Support monthly reporting, billing documentation, and project status updates

The ideal candidate should have strong, practical knowledge of U.S. construction processes, drawings and specifications, subcontractor coordination, documentation standards, commercial workflows, and field-to-office project management processes.

Procore, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. Experience with PlanSwift, CMiC, Primavera P6, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership, communicate professionally, manage multiple priorities, and independently handle Project Engineering responsibilities on U.S. construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
