Job Description

Senior Project Engineer (LTA/MRT Underground Project)

Location: Singapore
Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising underground MRT construction works, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with LTA requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
  • Supervise engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure works follow approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, LTA officers, and subcontractors.
  • Review technical drawings, method statements, and work procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Identify and resolve technical and site issues.
  • Monitor project schedule and report progress to management.
  • Attend site, coordination, and progress meetings.
  • Support project documentation, inspections, and authority submissions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years of experience in civil or MRT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in underground works such as: MRT stations Deep excavation Diaphragm walls Tunnelling
  • Familiar with LTA requirements and Singapore construction regulations.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on MRT projects in Singapore.
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality management.
