Senior Project Engineer - Electrical

Turner Construction Company is seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers – Electrical to support the successful delivery of complex US projects through strong technical coordination, project management, and collaboration. The role involves overseeing electrical engineering activities, coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and field operations, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with US codes, standards, and project requirements.

Job Summary: Provide essential support in project closeout, document control, risk mitigation, budgeting, safety management, and scheduling. Apply the comprehensive understanding of engineering processes and project management principles, with a particular focus on document control, budget management to ensure timely execution of the project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering support for US Projects from our Bengaluru office
• Take ownership of the document control process, ensuring the maintenance and distribution of current contract documents in compliance with company standards
• Understand and mitigate risks associated with the management of contract document
• Actively participate in trade partner and daily project huddles, as well as owner meeting
• Be accountable for assigned tasks and issues, providing updates and resolutions in a timely manner
• Develop and implement the project closeout process, ensuring that all data is gathered, compiled, and assembled for turnover to the clients
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate documentation for project closeout
• Assist in the proper setup of project budgets, including approval and audit flow
• Review proposals for assigned trade partners, ensuring accuracy in scope and compliance with budgetary requirement
• Assist with the payment application process, including set-up, draw management, and the management of the Checks Held Report
• Develop Requests for Information (RFI) and review submittals for accuracy
• Propose solutions to RFIs before sending them to the Design tea
• Manage the engineering system for assigned trades, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or Masters degree of Construction Management
• 8-12 years of experience in field/Project control. International experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Pro-core/ACC/Aconex and SAP is preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
