Senior Project Engineer – Electric Propulsion & Marine Electrical

GAMMA Marine Training Institute Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development, installation and commissioning of an electric propulsion system for a manned marine training vessel.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the electric propulsion project from research to commissioning.
Select motors, controllers, batteries, BMS, chargers and electrical equipment.
Prepare specifications, load calculations, SLDs, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
Evaluate suppliers and coordinate procurement and installation.
Supervise system integration and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Coordinate with engineers, technicians and external vendors.
Conduct FAT/SAT, harbour testing and sea trials.
Maintain technical drawings and project documentation.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Preferred Skills

Electric propulsion, EV powertrain, lithium batteries, BMS, BLDC/PMSM motors, motor controllers, high-current DC systems, CAN communication and marine electrical systems.
Experience in marine electrical, EV, battery, shipbuilding or electric propulsion projects is preferred.
