Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Civil & Structural (C&S), Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), or QA/QC activities throughout project execution.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and engineering coordination to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, engineering submissions, RFIs, RFAs, and other project-related documents.
- Monitor construction progress and identify potential technical, quality, and coordination risks.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve project issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical support in the areas of reinforced concrete, precast construction, structural steelwork, and composite construction works.
- Analyse project information from Common Data Environment (CDE), Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), and Primavera P6 to identify project risks and opportunities.
- Review BIM models and digital project information for design coordination and constructability.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, progress updates, and management dashboards.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide technical recommendations where required.
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale building and infrastructure construction projects.
- Experience in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical, or QA/QC disciplines.
- Successfully completed at least two projects from construction through handover stages.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in project management and engineering coordination.
- Experience in reinforced concrete, precast construction, structural steelwork, and composite design and construction is preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, construction documents, and project requirements.
- Familiarity with BIM platforms and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), preferably Bentley ProjectWise or similar systems.
- Experience using Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and Primavera P6 for project monitoring and coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess project risks and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with Power BI and data-driven project reporting tools is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
