Role Description The Senior Project Architect will lead the design and delivery of complex architectural projects, from concept development through construction documentation and completion. Responsibilities include coordinating design teams, preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals, and ensuring that all work aligns with DFI's human-centric, sustainable design principles. The role involves close collaboration with, consultants,, managing project schedules and budgets, and resolving design and technical issues on-site. The Senior Project Architect will mentor junior team members, support quality assurance, and contribute to design reviews and internal knowledge sharing. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.
Qualifications

  • Strong architectural design and technical skills, with proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in managing project submittals, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design, coordination, and clash detection.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and familiarity with green building standards such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
  • Relevant professional degree in Architecture and registration/licensure as an architect (or eligibility), as applicable.
  • Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong leadership, team mentoring, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an egalitarian, design-focused environment.
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Experience working on Indian building codes, local regulations, and on-site coordination in the Indian context is an advantage.
