Senior Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

ART Performance & Efficiency (MxS Accountability)

• Act as servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train.
• Facilitate and lead PI Planning and ART ceremonies (ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt).
• Align business goals with product vision across teams and suppliers.
• Maintain and improve flow, predictability, throughput, quality, and stability.
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and actionable improvement plans.
• Promote a DevOps and Continuous Delivery culture, integrating cloud-based pipelines with on-prem testing.

Stakeholder & Organizational Leadership

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments across teams and suppliers.
• Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Engineering Leads to align strategy, architecture, and execution.
• Provide transparency to senior leadership regarding ART performance, risks, and strategic dependencies.
• Act as an escalation point for cross-team, cross-department, and supplier challenges.
• Indirect leadership responsibility for 180 people within the ART.

Line Management & Coaching

• Lead and develop a team of Scrum Masters, including coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Build a Scrum Master community of practice to encourage knowledge exchange and continuous improvement.
• Ensure consistent application of Agile and SAFe practices across teams.
• Support Scrum Masters in navigating stakeholder interactions and organizational changes.
• Align with department leadership on capacity planning, training, and talent development.
• This is a formal line management position.
