Summary:
We are looking for a Business Manager to join the Executive Office team to achieve more by enabling delightful worker engagement and site experiences. This role is strategic for the organization and has a tangible impact on the talent base, growth, and culture of the organization. Candidates for this role are passionate about interacting with people, understanding their needs, and working with a variety of stakeholders to drive positive impact that touches every person in the organization. Candidates exhibit a growth mindset, can drive inclusive solutions, and have strong planning skills with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority.
Responsibilities:
- Drive large-scale worker events such as Townhalls, Hackathons, All hands, conferences, etc., to create delight and pride.
- Drive cross-organizational initiatives to land cultural tenets with the employees.
- Be the advocate for employees and their experience with leaders and all partner teams. Partner with IT, Finance, Facilities, and Workplace teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a consistent, high-quality worker experience.
- Support the Site Leadership team in enabling a great work culture.
Requirements:
- MBA
- 4 years of experience in Program (Event) Management or Consulting, especially worker-centric programs.
- Experience managing large-scale events and the branding/marketing needed along with it.
- Proven track record of planning and leading strategic cross-organizational initiatives.
- Prior experience at Company, Big 4, MBB consulting, or consulting experience with reputable companies.
Required Skills:
- Program Management Skills Ability to see the large picture and design intent-based programs to collectively address worker experience and engagement objectives. Ability to design and enforce sustainable & inclusive processes that address gaps.
- Leadership & Collaboration skills to build consensus, enlist & enroll stakeholders to drive organization-wide initiatives with the support of cross-functional virtual teams. &ldquoInfluencing without authority is a key trait needed for this role.
- Planning & Execution skills for using resources effectively in a constrained environment to deliver various events at scale, including overseeing the program's financial aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and working with vendor partners.
- Strong Communication skills to create energy and awareness around the programs at site as well as capturing updates across communication channels.
- Empathy & Curiosity to connect deeply with worker cohorts to get a pulse of the sentiment in the organization, understand their challenges, and work successfully across a range of stakeholders from junior employees to the leadership team.
