Position Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Professor with distinguished expertise in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Sciences to join our School of Technology. This is a strategic leadership-oriented role designed for an accomplished academic who can drive research excellence, foster industry partnerships, and contribute to the strategic vision of the School.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Academic Leadership
- Lead and mentor high-impact research initiatives aligned with institutional research clusters
- Publish in top-tier journals (ABDC A, SCOPUS Q1, FT50, SCI Q1 indexed)
- Secure external funding through government and industry grants (minimum 1 proposal/year)
- Supervise PhD scholars and build a robust research ecosystem
- Develop interdisciplinary collaborations with national and international institutions
Strategic Academic Contributions
- Contribute to curriculum development and program innovation
- Establish and strengthen industry partnerships for applied research and executive education
- Provide thought leadership in emerging technology domains
- Participate in institutional strategic planning and policy development
- Engage in accreditation processes (AACSB/ABET/NAAC) and quality assurance initiatives
Teaching Excellence
- Deliver specialized graduate-level courses (1 course per semester)
- Integrate cutting-edge research findings into teaching methodology
- Mentor faculty members and contribute to faculty development programs
Institutional Engagement
- Actively participate in School and University committees
- Represent the institution at national and international forums
- Contribute to the School's visibility and reputation building
- Engage in executive education and corporate training initiatives
Required QualificationsEssential:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or closely related field from a reputed institution
- Minimum 12-15 years of post-PhD academic/research experience with at least 5 years at Professor level
- Proven research track record with:
- Minimum 30+ publications in high-impact journals (SCOPUS Q1/Q2, SCI, ABDC A/A*)
- H-index of 15+ (or equivalent research impact metrics)
- Demonstrated success in securing external research funding (government/industry grants)
- Experience in PhD supervision with completed doctoral scholars
- Strong track record of international research collaborations
Desirable:
- Previous leadership experience in academic administration (Department Head, Program Director, Associate Dean, or equivalent)
- Experience with international accreditation processes (AACSB, ABET, NAAC)
- Established industry connections and corporate partnerships
- Experience in executive education delivery and curriculum development
- Patents, technology transfer, or entrepreneurial initiatives
- Visiting/adjunct positions at international universities
