Role/ Job Title: Senior Product Sales Manager - Trade Sales (Commercial Banking)

Job Purpose
The role entails driving Trade funded and non-funded products and flow-based trade business and Revenue for Trade product for the mid corporate and corporate liability clients. Sourcing, structuring, implementation of funded and non-funded trade business for existing and new clients. The role bearer is responsible for helping in designing the sales strategy to build volumes across zone for mid corporate and pure liability customers. Collaborate with the client coverage Team and risk Team in order to manage the portfolio risk. The role is responsible for revenue growth and will help provide inputs on strategies to drive product penetration while maintaining overall portfolio quality requirement. It has a Balance Sheet and P& L responsibility for the Trade sales business contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To build and grow the bank's Trade Finance & Services portfolio and overall business.
- Develop and review detailed account plan and execution strategy for each client and conduct periodic reviews to ensure alignment with account plan.
- Prospect and identify mid-corporate & pure liability clients with strong Trade potential (NTBs).
- Direct the Sales team by providing strategic inputs and plans for distribution penetration in current markets as well as future geographic expansion.
- Develop constructive relationships with Customers and Key Strategic Partners to drive growth of business.
- Collaborate with the Product Head and policies team to ensure that the target segment is offered the best in class solutions funding/multi-funding requirements.
- Provide end to end solutioning and customization for corporate clients.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of competitors products, market landscape on Trade and Capital Account business.
- Provide inputs on products, service levels and product features to product and strategy teams to help develop a best-in-class Transaction Banking suite of products.
- Provide inputs on sales strategy for setting up Trade Finance and services.
- Own, articulate & execute business strategy covering product development management, sales & service delivery so as to achieve trade target.
- Updating & training Relationship Managers on Trade & Capital Account Products.
- Ensure timely implementation of client deals and assist them for resolution of transactional queries.
- Housekeeping - managing of deferrals in a timely manner.
- Build industry knowledge in certain sectors that would help manage the portfolio.
- Complete ownership of regional portfolio of Trade Finance business. having targets of balancheet and Revenue numbers.
- Provide best in class service and advisory service to existing customers regarding their requirements and regulatory compliances thereby making IDFC First their banking partner of choice.
- Manage portfolio and ensure it is within risk appetite of the bank by monitoring and flagging early warning signs
- Ensure the successful adoption of internal compliances and regulatory framework across the business.
- Champion the adoption of high quality market intelligence and data analytics to promote product, solution and sales effectiveness in line with the banks growth/profitability objectives.
- Recommend improvements to processes and policies across the Corporate Liabilities business to drive operational efficiencies and high quality customer service.
- Keep abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
- Providing inputs to teams to achieve overall goals and objectives of Trade Business.
- Work closely with Business Head and provide timely inputs on improving efficiencies.

Graduate - Any graduation
Post Graduate - Any post graduation
Experience: 8 + Years in Transaction Banking in Trade Finance domain
