Work as a member of a team responsible for developing a large scale application for a telecom product in accordance with established processes.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following.
You will be expected to:
- Work as part of a distributed Product Management team to define & groom the product backlog
- Document User Stories, Themes & Epics with clearly defined acceptance criteria
- Work with the Product Management team to prioritize the features
- Work with a cross-functional team in planning a product release
- Maintain high quality standards for the work undertaken and be responsible for the quality of your own deliverables
- Your primary focus will be to ensure that the upcoming sprint priorities are clearly defined, well documented along with the scope, acceptance criteria, any impacted scenarios, dependencies ironed out (UI/UX Mocks)
- Work effectively as part of a distributed team
Requirements
Key technical expertise areas expected for this role:
- Currently working as a Product Owner for a Scrum team
- Experience working with Agile/Lean Methodologies
- Thorough understanding of Product Management principles
- Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Ability to articulate requirements clearly and concisely
- Experience working with Scrum or Kanban framework
Additional areas that would add value:
- Experience working with Jira / Confluence or similar software
- Experience working with UI/UX designing tools like Figma or Zaplin
- Prior experience in building modern web applications as a developer will be a plus
Education and experience:
- Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience
