The Product Manager-Technical (PM-T) is responsible for performing technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements are met. This role serves as a liaison and key communication bridge between the development and business teams, ensuring that technical requirements are clearly communicated to the development team and concerns are conveyed back to the business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure business and functional requirements can be met.

- Prioritization and Enhancement: Prioritize and identify cross-application/system enhancements, ensuring a streamlined development process.
- Dependency Management: Identify key dependencies and assess the knock-on impacts of new development work.
- Conceptual Design & Collaboration: Lead the development of conceptual/architectural designs and user interface mock-ups. Collaborate with the development staff on software designs.
- Technology Standards: Ensure the integration of Mastercard technology standards as needed.
- Technical Consultation: Act as a technical consultant for Business Owners during the implementation of new products and services.
- Support Escalation: Provide subject matter expertise and participate in L4 support escalations when required.
- Requirement Review: Lead review sessions of technical requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Audit and Compliance: Document and coordinate audit controls and PCI requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- GTM Coordination: Stay aligned with Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for the feature set, ensuring smooth product rollouts.
- System Integration: Coordinate and manage system integration demos to showcase product capabilities.

Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with experience in product, program, or service management in a technical capacity.
- Customer Coordination: Experience organizing and coordinating customer activities with product development roadmaps.
- Goal Setting & Metrics: Proficient in defining and organizing customer objectives, goals, strategies, and metrics for product development.
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate technical and non-technical virtual workshops, training sessions, and problem-solving meetings.
- Backlog Management: Experience converting customer use cases into actionable and testable backlog items, and owning prioritization for delivery.
- Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of the technologies, architecture designs, and features that support customer jobs to be done, contributing to technical discussions, decisions, and strategy.
- End-to-End Delivery: Experience with completing the end-to-end delivery of software changes or customer onboarding experiences that focus on learning outcomes and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and capabilities, particularly in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architectural patterns, and microservices architecture.
