Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (P4 level) to lead the strategy and execution of Autodesk's Record-to-Report (R2R) product domain within Finance Systems. This role focuses on building scalable, compliant, and efficient financial platforms supporting general ledger, close processes, consolidation, and group reporting, with a strong emphasis on SAP-based ecosystems.

You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering teams to modernize financial workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and enable faster, insight-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for R2R systems (GL, close, consolidation, reporting)

  • Align product strategy with Finance transformation goals, including automation, standardization, and scalability

  • Drive modernization of legacy finance processes into integrated, product-led platforms

R2R Domain Leadership

  • Own end-to-end R2R lifecycle:

    • General Ledger

    • Journal Entries

    • Intercompany accounting

    • Financial close & reconciliation

    • Consolidation & group reporting

  • Improve close cycle timelines, data accuracy, and audit readiness

SAP & Finance Systems

  • Lead product initiatives across SAP S/4HANA / ECC modules (FI/CO)

  • Drive integrations between SAP and downstream/upstream systems (e.g., planning, reporting tools)

  • Support transformation initiatives such as S/4 migrations, Central Finance, or reporting standardization

Group Reporting & Consolidation

  • Design and enhance group reporting frameworks (e.g., SAP Group Reporting, BPC, or similar tools)

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements

  • Partner with controllership and FP&A teams to improve consolidation accuracy and reporting speed

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with:

    • Finance leadership (Controller, CFO org)

    • Accounting & reporting teams

    • Engineering & architecture

  • Translate business requirements into clear product requirements and technical deliverables

Data & Insights

  • Enable real-time or near-real-time financial reporting

  • Improve data governance, lineage, and consistency across finance systems

  • Drive adoption of analytics and reporting tools for better decision-making

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in:

    • Product Management or

    • Finance Systems / ERP transformation roles

  • Strong domain expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO, ideally S/4HANA

  • Deep understanding of:

    • Financial close processes

    • Consolidation and group reporting

    • Intercompany accounting

  • Experience working with Finance stakeholders (Controllership, Accounting, FP&A)

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Group Reporting, BPC, or similar consolidation tools

  • Background in finance, accounting, or CA/MBA (Finance)

  • Experience in finance transformation or ERP modernization programs

  • Familiarity with automation tools, data platforms, or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

  • Experience in SaaS or large-scale enterprise environments
