About The Role
VRIZE is seeking a
Senior Product Manager with strong experience in Retail Digital Commerce platforms to support strategic product initiatives for a leading client in the retail industry.
This role will be responsible for
driving product strategy, roadmap execution, and stakeholder alignment across critical digital commerce capabilities, including
Marketplace integrations, Product Detail Pages (PDP), product feed management, inventory availability, and digital merchandising experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in
retail eCommerce ecosystems, product feed management, marketplace integrations, and product discovery experiences, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. This role will work closely with
business stakeholders, merchandising teams, engineering teams, and digital commerce partners to define and deliver product capabilities aligned with the client's long-term digital roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key retail digital commerce capabilities.
- Align product initiatives with business objectives, digital commerce strategy, and customer experience goals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product discovery, merchandising, and marketplace capabilities.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Marketplace & Product Feed Management
- Lead initiatives related to product feeds supporting marketplace integrations, AI-driven systems, and inventory availability platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate product data flow across internal systems and external marketplace platforms.
- Define and manage product feed structures, data requirements, and integration strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration of product data across catalog systems, marketplace platforms, and digital storefronts.
Product Detail Page (PDP) & Digital Experience
- Drive enhancements to Product Detail Page (PDP) capabilities, ensuring optimal product presentation and conversion.
- Collaborate with merchandising and UX teams to improve product storytelling, product attributes, and digital merchandising strategies.
- Support initiatives that enhance product discoverability, content enrichment, and customer engagement.
Digital Merchandising & Personalization
- Work closely with stakeholders to support personalized product experiences and merchandising capabilities.
- Lead integration and optimization of third-party merchandising and recommendation platforms such as Stylitics.
- Identify opportunities to enhance AI-driven recommendations, product bundling, and styling experiences.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders, merchandising teams, engineering teams, and data teams to align product strategy and execution.
- Facilitate product discovery workshops, roadmap discussions, and requirement alignment sessions.
- Act as a central point of coordination between business and technology teams.
Product Execution & Delivery
- Translate strategic initiatives into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Work closely with engineering teams in Agile environments to drive product delivery.
- Monitor product performance and ensure successful feature launches and adoption.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Define and track product KPIs and success metrics.
- Use data insights to evaluate product performance and inform roadmap decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, product discoverability, and conversion rates.
Required Skills & Experience
Product Management Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within digital commerce or retail platforms.
- Strong experience managing enterprise-scale digital product initiatives.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategy and roadmaps.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile product environments.
Retail Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of Retail and eCommerce ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of product catalog management, merchandising, and digital product discovery.
- Experience supporting marketplace integrations and digital retail platforms.
Marketplace & Product Feed Knowledge
- Strong experience with product feed management for marketplace platforms and internal systems.
- Understanding of product data flows across catalog systems, marketplaces, and digital storefronts.
- Experience working with inventory availability systems and product data integrations.
PDP & Digital Commerce Capabilities
- Expertise in Product Detail Page (PDP) optimization and digital merchandising experiences.
- Understanding of product content strategies, product attributes, and product discovery journeys.
Technical Understanding
- Familiarity with API-driven architectures and modern digital commerce platforms.
- Understanding of data integrations, microservices architecture, and digital platform ecosystems.
- Experience working with third-party digital merchandising and recommendation platforms.
Tools & Methodologies
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum product development environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
- Experience managing product backlogs, epics, and release planning.
