We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our API-driven fin tech platform focused on merchant acquisition and embedded banking solutions. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, partnerships, compliance, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that simplify onboarding, underwriting, payment enablement, and banking capabilities for merchants.
Key Responsibilities
- Card Network Expertise
- Manage and oversee the complete card processing lifecycle including authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, and disputes.
- Work on ISO 8583 and ISO 20022-based network message formats for Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay, and other networks.
- Lead network certifications and ensure compliance with scheme mandates, regulatory changes, and message format updates.
- Message & Transaction Processing
- Identify and implement application-level changes required due to network message revisions, new fields, or format changes.
- Collaborate with vendors, processors, and internal tech teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
- Technical Involvement
- Translate scheme technical specifications into application requirements and guide engineering teams for implementation.
- Conduct impact assessments for network updates and provide detailed technical documentation and drive timely implementation
- Partner with QA and engineering teams to design test cases for certification, regression, and network simulations.
Requirements
- Experience: 6–12 years in card payment processing, with direct exposure to network certifications and scheme integrations.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of ISO 8583 / ISO 20022 message structures.
- Experience with card scheme specifications (Visa Base I, Mastercard MIP, Amex, RuPay, etc.).
- Knowledge of EMV, tokenization, and 3DS flows.
- Tools/Tech: Familiarity with net
- work simulators, message analyzers, and certification tools.
- Domain Knowledge: Hands-on understanding of authorization, clearing, settlement, reversals, chargebacks, refunds.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and compliance teams.
