ROLE:

JioSaavn is looking for a Senior Product Manager to enhance our personalization and recommendation systems. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to create a world-class engagement experience. Your mission is to help our AI deliver the most relevant content recommendations on the Homepage and Player, ensuring a seamless and personalized user journey.

This role demands deep expertise in data-driven decision-making and customer experience. You'll drive experiments, launch impactful features, and continuously refine engagement strategies to create delightful, personalized listening experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy & Vision –

• Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Establish and track key engagement and personalization metrics to measure success.
• Champion customer-first thinking, ensuring product decisions enhance user experience.
• Drive alignment across leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Challenge the status quo—question everything and never settle.

Execution & Optimization –

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous optimization.
• Translate business goals into implementable features and solutions.
• Work closely with AI leads to identify gaps and enhance Homepage & Player recommendation systems.
• Leverage engagement data to uncover user behaviors, trends, and insights that strengthen recommendations.
• Design and execute A/B tests to optimize personalization and maximize engagement.
• Balance short-term quick wins with long-term strategic improvements to drive sustainable growth.

Processes-

• Maintain clear, structured documentation for product requirements, roadmaps, and updates.
• Streamline product development workflows, ensuring efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and iteration.
• Ensure seamless stakeholder communication and alignment across departments.
• Implement Agile best practices to enhance team productivity and execution speed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a Tier 1 institution.
• 6+ years of experience, including 4+ years as a Product Manager and 2+ years in Recommendations or Personalization features.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML models, concepts, and data science related to recommendation systems.
• Proven experience in building B2C products or features focused on Engagement and Retention.
• Expertise in designing and executing A/B tests to drive data-backed product decisions.
• Intermediate proficiency in SQL/NoSQL for data analysis.
• Experience in user research and behavioral analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and JIRA.

Bonus: Ideally, you'll also meet at least a few of the following requirements

• Experience working directly with AI/ML teams to build and optimize recommendation models.
• Background in data science and complex querying.
• Previous experience with Music, OTT, or Entertainment products.
• Understanding of front-end and back-end development processes.
• Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and wireframes for enhanced engagement.
